SEER Ratings

A SEER rating is a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio, which measures air conditioning and heat pump cooling efficiency. A higher SEER rating means that you have a greater energy efficiency!

Thinking about switching your unit and not sure about the ratings? We’re here to help!

When you are looking for your SEER rating, most A/C units have a yellow sticker labeled “energy guide” that will have the SEER rating right on it and be able to tell you your current rating, from there you can start to decide on the next best rating for you!

Normally, SEER ratings range from 13 all the way up to 25! Choosing your rating can be a bit confusing, but no need to worry, we are here to help!

Usually, your SEER rating depends on how much you use your system, the temperature you keep your house at, the size of the home, and placement of rooms; number, size, and placement of windows, doors; and the climate. If you have an older system, thinking about switching it out to something newer, might just help you cut down those energy bills and save on your next trip to Hawaii!
